It’s time for the 7th annual Salem’s So Sweet, Chocolate & Ice Sculpture Festival. A decadent tradition of delectable chocolate, sparkling ice sculptures and Valentine’s Day shopping.

The festival kicks off with a Chocolate and Wine Tasting, on Friday, February 6, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Hamilton Hall. This luscious tasting event, now in its seventh year, features wine, chocolate and coffee samplings from many of Salem’s restaurants and sweet shops. Samples include unusual and unexpected chocolate items. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance at the Salem Chamber of Commerce or at the door on the night of the event. Participating businesses include: Capt’s, Captain Dusty’s, CoffeeTime Bake Shop, Finz, Maria’s Sweet Somethings, Pamplemousse, Rita’s, Rockafellas, Rose Medallion Tea Room, Salem Beer Works, Salem Waterfront Hotel, Salem Wine Imports, Sixty2 on Wharf, Spirits@300, Ye Olde Pepper Company. This year there will again be magical ice sculptures throughout the downtown. This festival is free and fun for the whole family. Maps showing the location of the ice sculptures will be available throughout downtown Salem and Pickering Wharf at participating businesses. Many downtown businesses will offer in-store promotions during the event ranging from free chocolate to great discounts. Promotions include:
