2022 Info Booth Volunteers Needed!
Salem Main Streets will be looking for local Salem enthusiasts to help operate our Information Booth(s) during the month of October! Info Booth volunteers welcome visitors to Salem from all around the world and help them safely navigate our community to make the most of their visit. Shifts are two hours, typically on Friday evenings and weekends.
The Info Booth Orientation will be on SATURDAY, SEPT. 10 AT 10 AM AT THE NPS VISITORS CENTER (2 NEW LIBERTY STREET). Registration will open at 9:30 am. Please complete the SignUp if you are interested in volunteering even if you cannot make the in-person orientation. If you cannot make the in-person orientation for any reason, select the make-up option on Sept. 14 (even if you cannot make that exact date and time, the meeting will be recorded) so we know that you are interested.
If you are interested in any other volunteer needs, please contact Kylie at email@example.com.
I have been a resident of Salem for the past 14 years and have enjoyed watching the city evolve and grow into an amazing and rich destination all year round. I would like to volunteer and participate in the planning and organization process of the many events of this great community. Please let me know of how I can contribute.
I have been an unwavering Ambassador Volunteer for: Salem MainStreets/Haunted Happenings, The Chamber Of Commerce, City Hall and Mayor Kimberly Driscoll, for the past 5 (this will be my 6th) years. I LOVE to always contribute and share any/all of my knowledge with Residents, Visitors & Tourists alike. For a recent example; I have given an Asian friend of mine a wealth of information on The City Of Salem-and-as a result, we both explored the city together and she wants to come back again and again. I really do enjoy it when I can help people with their visits/stays, even Tours about Salem. This City truly does have a very welcoming spirit about it, more than any other that I have known.
