There will be 17 beautiful ice sculptures gracing the downtown for the 10th Annual Salem’s So Sweet festival February 10 – 14, 2012. The festival begins with a Wine and Chocolate Tasting in Hamilton Hall on Friday, February 10. Tickets are almost sold out for this decadent event and can be purchased by calling (978)744-0004. On Saturday, February 11 by noon 17 large ice sculptures will fill downtown Salem. Many shops will be offering free chocolate samples and fantastic shopping discounts. It’s a great opportunity to do your Valentine shopping and make dinner reservations at one of 60 eating establishments downtown Salem.
Tickets are now on sale for the popular Salem’s So Sweet Chocolate and Wine Tasting event Friday, February 10, 2012. This decadent sampling of delicious desserts and chocolate from many of Salem’s premier restaurants and shops is always a favorite. Add delicious wines and champagne plus the music of Evan Goodrow and you have the perfect combination. January is also Cervical Cancer Awareness month. Downtown Salem is the perfect spot for your last minute holiday shopping. On Thursday, December 22 we will hold the last winter farmers’ market of the season. This is a perfect opportunity for shopping for your holiday entertaining – buy delicious produce, cheese, jams, cookies, pies and much more! There are lots of wonderful gift items such as local art. The market is open from 2 – 6 in Artists’ Row on Front Street. Santa Claus will be visiting the market from 3:30 – 5:30.
