We have just received a dispatch from the North Pole confirming Santa’s Arrival in Salem Friday, November 27. Festivities start at 5:30 p.m. with music on The Common where we will be on the lookout for Santa’s arrival. Following tradition, Santa will descend from the Hawthorne Hotel (around 6:00 p.m.) and, with the help of his elves, distribute candy to the children.

Mayor Driscoll will welcome Santa to town. She will then lead Santa and elves through the Essex Street pedestrian mall to the Museum Place Mall. At the mall children can sit on Santa’s lap and share their holiday wish list and receive a candy cane. Come downtown and join this fantastic holiday tradition.
