Salem Main Streets values your thoughts and ideas about downtown Salem. Make your opinion heard by taking our survey. Salem Main Streets starts projects like the Salem Farmers’ Market based on stakeholder feedback. We want to know what you like, what you would like to change or improve and what you would like to see come to downtown.

We have a vibrant downtown. Restaurants and coffee shops are varied, plentiful and more than adequate. Awesome architecture, both historic and modern. A first class museum. Tourist stuff. We stretch from Artist Alley to Salem Willows to a Theater.
Our Mall stinks. We will never have 1st class retail stores within. So we should probably stick with a theme. Restaurants, antique stores, used book stores. Nothing else. Unique, privately owned shops.
