Should you find yourself strolling the streets of Salem on Christmas Day, or afterward, take advantage of the opportunity to leisurely walk by colorfully decorated store windows. Over 35 merchants participated in the Salem Main Streets Winter Storefront Window Classic.
“The downtown businesses gave our judges a run for their money this year,” said Kylie Sullivan, Salem Main Streets Manager. “There are so many great windows, from the beautiful all-white display at Seed Stitch Fine Yarn to superheroes in Santa hats at the Gulu-Gulu Café. We awarded more winners than ever before, and still feel like we’re leaving some of our favorites out.”
Humor, charm, creativity all went into these efforts to entertain and entice you to come into their stores. We hope you supported their efforts to make the Holidays in Salem a more fun experience.
