Dec 262013

Closing out 2013 for Salem Main Streets will not be a quiet event. Along with the City of Salem we will be sponsoring “New Year’s Eve Salem,” Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 4 – 7 pm at Old Town Hall and Derby Square.

This will be the first time in recent memory that the City has held a New Year’s Eve event,” states Kylie Sullivan, Salem Main Streets Manager. “We’re calling this year’s event LAUNCH because we hope it will be the start of an annual tradition.”

Attendees can rock the night away with popular local favorites, including The Dejas, Qwill, the OnPoint Ensemble, and more. There will be New Year’s Eve related activities and crafts for kids of all ages. This event is free to all and family-friendly.

There will even be an early countdown and balloon drop promptly at 7 pm.
