Dont’ forget Men’s Shopping Night!

What does”she” want for Christmas? Men, ask no more. All your wife, girl friend, sweetheart needs to do is visit a participating downtown merchant now through December 16 and fill out a Men’s Shopping Night wish list. There will refreshments at participating businesses!

Some Men’s Night Specials include:

Roost: Sign up before the 16th and be entered in a drawing for a $50 gift certificate
Rouge Cosmetics: “Give a gift, get a gift” Make a purchase of $75 or more and get a gift bag filled with extra rouge products, like lip gloss and other makeup
Salem Wine Imports: Free wine tasting from 5-8 p.m.
Signatures: Free gift wrapping with purchase

Santa Claus is Coming to Town – Friday

The North Pole reports that Santa Claus is scheduled to arrive in Salem, on the roof of the Hawthorne Hotel Friday, December 3 at 5:30 p.m. The Salem Fire Department is expected to assist Santa off the roof of the hotel. Santa will be greeted by Mayor Driscoll and proceed to the Museum Place Mall to hear the wishes of children. At the mall there will be face painting and a coloring contest for children.

The Paul Madore Singers will be performing at the Santa’s Arrival event on the Salem Common. The Paul Madore Chorale is presently celebrating its 45^th Season of presenting quality choral music to North Shore audiences. Based in Salem, Massachusetts, the Chorale has a membership of 50-60 singers drawn from the Greater North Shore area. The chorus for the Santa’s Arrival event is a select group from the Chorale—The Paul Madore Singers.
