Salem Main Streets Design Committee is pleased to announce the winners of the downtown Salem Holiday Window Contest. The SMS Design Committee is comprised of Committee Chair, Gina Flynn of Eastern Bank, Shirley Walker, Real Estate, Doug Hopper, Architect and Bill Yuhas, Architect. This year’s winners are:
For Most Original: Milk and Honey Green Grocer, 32 Church Street
For Most Whimsical: Pamplemousse, 185 Essex Street
Viewer’s Choice: Witch Tees, 173 Essex Street
Runners up for Most Original: Modern Millie Vintage, 103 Washington St. and Signatures, 181 Essex Street.
Runners up for Most Whimsical: Treasures Over Time, 139 Washington St., Marketplace Quilts, 6 Front Street.
Runners up for Viewer’s Choice: Marketplace Quilts, 6 Front Street and Two Girls Shop, 320 Derby St.
All windows including the winning windows are visible now through December 25. Thank you to all businesses who decorated their windows and to all members of the public who voted in the contest this year. This year’s holiday stocking includes gifts from Caffe Grazianni, Crunchy Granola Baby, Cafe Valverde, Glass & Etc., Bella Hair Studio, Witch City Thrift & Consignment Shp, Penelope’s Pet Boutique, Modern Millie Vintage, Treasures Over Time, Roost & Beehive, Rouge Cosmetics, Fool’s Mansion, Living With Pets, The Picklepot, and Quint Essentials.
