Halloween weekend was a success as thousands of people filled the downtown area, enjoying live music and entertainment. This year’s Haunted Happenings offered residents and tourists a fun place for kids to hang out with rides, food vendors, and games as well as adult activities. With all of the great places to eat, and fantastic Halloween-themed costume parties to attend, Salem truly is the Halloween capitol. The City of Salem provides enjoyable activities for people of all ages throughout this month. Salem Main Streets would also like to give a special thanks to the Information Booth Volunteers, who served over 350 hours handing information to more than 24,000 people weekends in October!
