If you are wondering how to help support the fire victims from the 98 Washington Square apartment complex who lost their apartments Friday. There are many opportunities to help…
- Drop off small household items at Bewitched in Salem at 180 Essex Street or Pamplemousse 185 Essex St.
- Gift cards for household items, medications, clothing and food can be dropped off or mailed to Catholic Charities, 280 Washington St., Salem, 01970 For questions, call Catholic Charities at 978-740-6923.
- Checks or monetary donations to assist residents of 98 Washington Square East in Salem can be dropped off or mailed to the “Salem Fire Victims Fund,” c/o North Shore Community Action Program, 98 Main St., Peabody, MA, 01960. For questions, call NSCAP at 978-531-0767.
So far fire victims have stated they need: temporary lodging(s); bedding and linen (please, only donate these items in their unopened original packaging); assistance to move items; storage space; pots and pans and other kitchen items.
