Closing out the old year and looking forward to the new one has a particularly poignant edge to it this year. Jennifer Bell, the energy, the driving force, the face of Salem MainStreets will not be here to guide us as manager. Just as we are all moving into a new year, she is moving into another position. We wish you well Jennifer; we will miss you.
As we look ahead to someone else sitting in the manager’s chair, answering the phone and reading the e-mails, make no mistake, there are still activities to tell you about.
First Friday closes out the week.
Now you see it, now you don’t as the Witches Cottage magically changes its name and its look.
And before you know it, February will be here, bringing the Salem So Sweet festival complete with chocolates, ice sculptures and window contests.
